Christmas

I had a nice Christmas. I got pajamas for my American Girl doll, and I got pajamas that look just like them for me. I got things for my dollhouse. Pa made me a wooden cupboard for my dollhouse. It's a small version of the one he has at home. I got lots of earrings! And a stencil art kit. And lots of other things.




I like making gifts for everyone. This year I made bath bags and hard candy. I made a few other things like candles, and I sewed a candy cane for Daddy.

We hosted Christmas Eve this year. We had all red, green and white foods. This year we baked gingerbread cookies, shortbread cut-outs and Swedish sandbakkels, and we made peppermint-chocolate bark.

In my last post I forgot to put a picture of us in our church pageant, The Grinch. So here it is.

The Cousins are Coming

Tomorrow my cousins are coming over, and they are coming over next Monday. We are going to bake Christmas cookies on Monday.

Tomorrow is Julian's holiday musical at his preschool. He's been singing the songs all the time.

Today we are going to make holiday crafts with our friends.

Last Sunday at church we did The Grinch for our holiday pageant. I was a Who. Julian was a mouse, and Kelan was a Who, too.

Mini-mini golf course

I am making a mini-mini golf course. It is really fun. We are finishing them today. We are using marbles for golf balls. I have a lake in mine. I just had a google chat with Uncle Eric. It was neat.

Ice Skating

Today I am going ice skating with Locke. It is his sister's birthday party. But I am allowed to go and play with him. He is coming here to spend the night after skating.

Sleepover

Tomorrow I have a slumber party at Winter's house. We are going ice skating first. We might make our own ice cream sundaes! Today we are going to our friends' house to make Christmas crafts. I'm going to be in the pageant at our church on Sunday. We are doing The Grinch this year, and I'm going to be a Who.

My Gingerbread House

I went to the Duquesne Club with Grandma and made a gingerbread house. We put lots of candy on it, and almost everything was edible. I like the little pine tree outside of the house.



Yesterday our neighbor gave us a big bag of dress-up clothes. I found this headband with orange ponytails and put it on Julian, and we put a dress and apron on him. I thought it was very funny.



Last night we got our Christmas tree at Soergel's. We might set it up tonight. Last night we watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Today we are going to make holiday gifts with friends.

Thanksgiving

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Pa and Nana are coming. I'm going to help Mom make a pumpkin pie. We're going to have whipped cream with it! The day after Thanksgiving, Grandma and Lloyd are coming over for breakfast, and then we leave for Cincinnati to visit Granny and Grandad.

Thanksgiving

It is going to be Thanksgiving soon. We are going to Granny and Grandad's the day after Thanksgiving. We will be there for three days. Today we went to a Thanksgiving party at playgroup. We are having Thanksgiving at our house this year.

What's going on.

Today Julian went to school. On Saturday I'm going to a sleepover at Aunt Monica and Uncle Brandon's. We are supposed to get a big snowstorm any minute!

First Snow

We had our first major snow yesterday. There was enough to make snow balls but not enough to make snowmen. But it was still fun!

Halloween

I forgot to write about Halloween! I went trick-or-treating with Julian. Kelan went trick-or-treating with his friend. I dressed up as a cat. Mommy got us Jones sodas to trade for candy that we didn't want. I liked the sodas and microwave popcorn the best.

Stuff We Did

We went to Doctor Ciccarelli yesterday. No cavities! I hope we go ice skating today. I started basketball a couple of weeks ago. We had our first basketball game a couple of days ago. We lost 12 to 24.

Mamma Mia

Today I am going to Mamma Mia at the Benedum with Grandma. Tomorrow we have our homeschooling classes at North Park.

Hello

Yesterday was Tarin's ballet. I played with Locke during that time. Today we are doing work and mom has a midwife appointment.

Snow?

I can't believe it! It's snowing! Why is it snowing before Halloween? I don't know. But I do know that it was freezing last night when I came home from water polo. I hope it gets warmer before Halloween.

My Sleepover

Yesterday I went to a sleepover at Winter's house. We had pancakes. We played with our American Girl dolls. We didn't get a lot of sleep!

Today

Today we can't go anywhere because Dad accidentally took our keys. Tomorrow is Julian's birthday. Tuesday was our playgroup Halloween party and I dressed up as a Renaissance girl.

more Halloween

Guess what? I got my Halloween costume yesterday. It is a real great costume. Halloween is so close! Julian's birthday is tomorrow.

I am going to be Men in Black for Halloween. There are these people up the street that give out drinks like soda, little hugs and water. So I am going to their house!
