Christmas

I am getting so excited about Christmas! Ezra and Elliot are coming over tonight to do Christmas stuff. We are not going to bake cookies tonight because mom said it was too early. We are going to watch Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer tonight!

Weekend

You know our kittens? Well it turns out that Alaina was a boy, and Sebastian was a girl. So now we call Alaina, Sebastian, and vice versa. We visited our friends, the Wischmanns, up in Buffalo this past weekend. I played with Locke's friends a lot. It was so much fun! I can't wait for Christmas!

Kittens

You know how we fostered the kittens, Tommy and Rylie? Well, we are fostering four new kittens. Their names are Lavender, Sebastian, Alaina and Rose. They are even smaller than Tommy and Rylie. Alaina and Rose are black and white, and could sit on your lap forever. Lavender is gray and white, and active all the time. Sebastian has long black hair with a little white under his chin. He will sit on your lap but he's also really active.

Beach

We just got home from the beach late Saturday. It was so much fun! I was boogie boarding the whole time! Also we got hermit crabs. My hermit crab's name is Lazlo.

Last Day of School

Today is our last day of school! Woo hoo! Yesterday I had a lacrosse game but at the end of the first quarter it got canceled due to lightning. But the score was 3-2 us so we won! We only have one more game.

Recital and Play

Tonight is my ballet recital, and my class is dancing in The Doll Shoppe. I am wearing a red skirt with ribbons hanging from the waistline, and I have ribbons for my hair. I am excited to dance tonight.

Next week I am in the play, Robin Hood, with our homeschool group. I am playing the part of Fair Ellen, and I'm wearing a purple Renaissance dress.

The pool at the YMCA opens this weekend!

Last Week

Next Friday is our last day of school. I can't wait till summer! Today is Friday so I am just finishing up with school work. Mom just signed me up for Camp Soles. Also I am going to a football camp with Ben Roethlisberger in June! Monday is Memorial Day and we are going to see Great Grandma.

Lacrosse

I had a lacrosse game last week, and it was the muddiest field I have ever played on. You should have seen my cleats afterward. We lost 6-4. That means that our record is 1-5-2. I went on a hike in Raccoon Creek State Park on Sunday for Mother's Day.

Disney World

Tomorrow is Elliot's birthday. Last week we went to Disney World. I went on Splash Mountain for the first time. I really like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. At Disney, I bought a charm bracelet and some earrings. Monday was Kelan's birthday. We went to a high school lacrosse game.

My Birthday and Disney

On my birthday we went to Blueberry Hill Park in the morning. Then my friend, Locke, came over and we went to the skateboard park and a high school lacrosse game. Then he slept over. I got an iPod case with speakers, an aloe plant, and a chin-up bar from mom and dad. I got T-shirt that says "Just one more level" twelve times, and a iTunes gift card from Locke.

Last week we went to Disney. It was really fun. They had iHomes in the rooms! My favorite ride was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Here is a photo of us having lunch at the Crystal Palace.

Week

Next week we are going to Disney World. This weekend me and Kelan are going to Luka and Griffin's house for a sleepover.

Tomorrow I have a hands-on history class about the Civil War. I'm excited because we get to wear hoop skirts!

First LAX game

Yesterday was my first lacrosse game. We played Mount Lebanon. We won 9-6! I play midfield. It was really fun. My next game is tomorrow.

Today

This weekend me and Julian are going to Ezra's house for a sleepover. Kelan is going to his friend's house for a slumber party. On Sunday we are going to Ligonier for a family bonfire. There will be a treasure hunt, and I'm excited about that! Yesterday Mom had a hair appointment.

Fun Stuff

I had lacrosse last night. They paired us up with varsity kids. The varsity kids gave us tips and stuff. Disney World and my birthday just keep getting closer.

4H

Tomorrow we are going to Spruce Hill. This week I went to a 4H Club. I held a chicken, got eggs out of the hen house, and talked about what we are going to do in the club. It was fun!

Today we learned about Michelangelo and how he painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. It took him four years to paint it. Me and Kelan painted on a piece of paper on the ceiling, just to see how it felt.

Spruce Hill

We are going up to Spruce Hill for the weekend. We are leaving tomorrow. We got out our Easter things today. Julian is coming home from school. I will have to miss the lacrosse scrimmage on Saturday.

Spring

Today is the first day of spring. We are going to Rita's for free Italian ice.

Today we saw a hawk up close. It was in our neighbor's yard eating a dead squirrel. It was really neat to see it so close. The hawk was there for a long time. People kept stopping to watch it.


Last weekend I had a sleepover here with Winter. We dressed up really funny with my dress-up clothes. We also had a tea party with my new American Girl tea set.

Rita's Italian Ice

Today is the first day of spring. That's good because Rita's gives away free Italian ice. I am probably going to get grape flavored ice. We are taking Ezra and Elliot to Rita's. I can't wait!

Lacrosse Again

Tuesday and last night I had lacrosse practice. Both times the coach made us run all the way to the basketball hoops and back. Dad thought to the hoops and back was almost half a mile. Last night's practice was really cold, so by the end everyone was freezing and not having very much fun.

I just started doing 12 push-ups each day. I have been doing push-ups every day for about a month or so. I want a chin-up bar, but chin-ups are hard!

Sick

Mom is sick with the flu. Dad might be getting sick, too. We've all been sick for a month! We're getting tired of being sick. Today Grandma brought over Chinese food for lunch. Today Julian is at school.

Lacrosse

I just found out that my first Lacrosse practice is in 12 days. I really hope that it is warm and that there is no snow on the ground. I am playing for NA this year. I am really excited.

Sick

We are not doing much today. Last weekend Dad and I went to camp Kon-o-Kwee.

Mom just left for Cleveland. Me and the boys were sick all week.

Valentine's Day

Julian and Kelan are sick with a stomach virus. On Tuesday we had a playgroup Valentine's Day party, and lots of people who were there got sick. Tonight me and Dad are going on a campout for Adventure Princesses. Last weekend, Julian went with Dad on a campout for Indian Guides. Last Saturday we went to the Carnegie Museum with Pa. We made sketches of artwork (I did part of Water Lillies by Monet) and saw the dinosaurs. Today we decorated Valentine's Day cookies for Dad. We wanted to make valentines for all of our grandparents but everyone has been sick for the last few days.

On Monday is my last Jazz/Musical Theater class. We have been playing theater games and learning to sing. We also learned jazz dance. I really like the class!

Dad and Julian's camping trip

Dad and Julian are going camping this weekend up at Kon-o-kwee with Indian Guides. They are leaving tonight. Right now Julian is painting his wooden derby car. They always have a derby. They always go up with a group. The Steelers won the Super Bowl!!!!!! Grandma had a party and I got to blast off the confetti at the end of the game.

Roller Skating

A couple of days ago I went roller skating with playgroup. After that, Locke came over till after dinner. We played hockey, basketball, and soccer. We had fried rice for dinner.

Dad downloaded a Simpsons episode on my iPod. The episode is the one where Homer and Flanders are bounty-hunters, and Marge is a baker.

T.

Julian is sick today. Ballet might be canceled for tonight because it is icy. Yesterday we went roller skating at Romp-n-Roll. And I went to a friend's house to play after skating.

Super Bowl

I can't believe it! We are going to the Super Bowl! We beat the Ravens in the AFC championship. We face the Cardinals on the first of November. Go Steelers!

What's Going On

Today I have Mom to myself because Julian is at school and Kelan is at Seven Springs. This weekend we have Maddie's birthday party, and Daddy and I are going to make our fad racing car to race during our our Adventure Princess campout. The campout is in a few weeks.

I watched the Inauguration on Tuesday. It was very interesting. I was thinking about what it might be like to live in the White House, like the Obama girls. My favorite part would be the swimming pool! I'm glad that Barack Obama is our President now.

iPod

I got an iPod Nano with my xmas money from Granny and Grandad, and Uncle Eric. I asked my friends and family who had iPods if they thought I would like one, they all said yes! Apple sent me an email and I learned that if I give the iPod a shake it will change to a random song. It was -3 degrees this morning! Julian is rubbing my back and it feels really good!

Brrrrr!

I am taking a Jazz and Musical Theater class. I took one class already and I liked it. We started to learn a dance, and we did different theater exercises.

The temperature outside is -3 degrees! All the schools are closed, and we can't go outside and play. But we still do schoolwork. I wish we didn't have to.

Last year Mommy found a neat website about what different families eat all over the world. I was thinking about it today so we found the website again. I thought it was very neat to see what people eat around the world and how much money they spend in a week. Here is the link:

Snow and More Holidays!

It is snowing! We found neat snowflakes that were shaped like you would think a snowflake would be shaped. Some of them looked like flowers, and some of them looked like stars, and some just looked like snowflakes!

My Great-Aunt Mary sent us toys from Mexico that children would get for Three Kings Day, a holiday celebrated in Mexico. I got a doll that's made out of beads, and a cat that's made out of wood and painted. I never knew about Three Kings Day before!

Today I'm going with Grandma for a sleepover because tomorrow we are celebrating Ukranian Christmas. In the morning all the women and girls make pierogies. And in the afternoon we eat!

Stuff

We are back to school now. I am not to happy about it. I had a basketball practice yesterday. We had a scrimmage at practice. We had freezing rain yesterday.

New Years and Christmas

This new years eve I got to stay up till midnight! It was pretty fun. For Christmas I got some Homer Simpson slippers, a new basketball, some snowshoes, and lots of other stuff. Happy 2009.
